Comfort Zone

At one point
you will feel that everything will tumble down slowly
even you are on the top

at one point
you will find yourself in the hot pot of water
even you are always enclosed in the shell

at some points
you need to realise the purpose of your own life
even you think that everything will be alright

at some points
you need to put down and let it go
even you have learned that the past is in the past

human being always fall into a pattern
maybe they think they are superior
and some choose to be ignorant

they tend to carry on their life
upon birth till the last breath

is that the reason why everyone just don't care what had happen?
or it simply because they are insecure to step out the comfort zone?
just wondering...

Penang Island Food Trail...

Last Sunday,
4 members of Forever Hungry Group went to Penang Island by flight
so it's gonna be a 3D2N food trail

we tried to cover as many food as possible
and we were eating almost every 2 hours
(except sleeping time)

so here are some of the food that we had

Restoran Kapitan
Tosai

this restaurant only serve tosai and roti canai in the morning
and if you wanna taste the nasi kandar here
you should come here at night
anyway, the tosai here is so nice to eat
and it is worth trying
(rate: 3/5)

Sky Cafe
Duck rice & Char Siew Rice
so when we reached here
there are lots of people lining up
so you know you'll never go wrong
and when we got our share
it's rather disappointing though
not that delicious as compared to KL's
still since it's famous
just try then
(rate: 1/5)

 Kedai Kopi Kheng Pin
Lobak Koh
well, the lobak koh that the aunty fried looks delicious
it is tasty
and excluding the fact that you might be disgusted by the black oil they are using
everything seems pretty normal
and again
lots of people
(rate: 3/5)

Restoran Joo Hooi
asam laksa & cendol
once again
people lining up like crazy
yet the food is beyond satisfactory
and kindly reminder
just order drink even you dun feel like drinking
most of the restaurant charge the customers who are not ordering any beverages
so just get yourself a drinking water
or chinese tea (to eliminate oiliness)
so the laksa tastes extraordinary
and the cendol is not super sweet neither tasteless
worth trying
(rate: 4/5)

Padang Brown Hawker Centre
and they are several foods here..
pasembur
it is something different if you already get used to rojak mamak
perhaps it's the kuah they used
(rate: 3/5)

popiah
it is a little bit crunchy inside
and to me, it's just plain as it doesn't surprise me
(rate: 2/5)

Ais kacang
it is so refreshing
since it's a very hot weather in penang
(rate: 3/5)

Malaysian pancake
so this is the food that is worth recommended
it's prepared by a Chinese grandma
though it took ages for her to cook
and I saw her being scolded by the customers (screw them)
and yet
you can feel the warmth and the sincerity at the first bite
(rate: 4/5)

Line Clear Nasi Kandar
obviously it only serves nasi kandar
and just like other mamak shop you have
so we've decided to just take away (or tapau)
trust me
it's the best experience
and it's so addictive
in a way that
we went there twice in less day an hour
I see the perfection and satisfaction in between the rice
try the fried rice and mutton
(rate: 5/5)

Jalan Pasar Ayer Itam
Asam Laksa & San Zha ( 山楂 ) Juice
so it is located near the Kek Lok Si
so along the way to the hill
you could stop here and grab a bite
the asam laksa here taste different from the previous
 and the San Zha juice
oh my god!!!!!
it's so refreshing
it's a little bit sour and it's good to quench the thirst
(rate: 4/5)

Anjung Gurney
here we just ordered whatever interesting
and the food here are not bad

(rate: 3/5)

China House Cafe
our one and only luxurious leisure
the cake here are super awesome
and the portion is large

tiramisu cake (the best)

carrot cake with cream topping

banana cake with brown sugar
(rate: 4/5)

so overall
the experience of the food trail here is satisfactory
not overwhelmed nor unsatisfied
it's an awesome trip
and we spent less than RM300 per person
(including the hotel, flight tickets, bus tickets and the food)
hopefully
we could go on another food trail...
put on your shades cause we'll be dancing in the flames~~
